Chicken Love
A true love story about a little chicken (stuffed) and a spoodle.

When you have a little chicken friend,. it’s your doggorn duty to keep it from being batted around the house and tossed in the air by the Ragdoll and Birman kitties you live with. It’s heartbreaking to watch.

Those rotten kitties! The only safe place for a little chicken is right here with me.

Oh no! The birman is lookin for ya. Grrrrrrrr grrrrrr.

Think fast,……there has got to ba a safe place to hide you. Besides,.. my mouth is getting sore, and you’re getting wet.

Quick, the birman is coming grrrrrr grrrrr. I’ve dug out a nest for ya and I can cover you up if it gets really dangerous.

Phfft!,.. there,.. how’s that? Comfy?

Hmmm this is no good,.. the kitties could bite your head off like that,.. it’s too dangerous.

Turn around and burrow down,..here,. let me help push you down a bit further.

There,..much better,.they won’t be able to see you now because your head is buried. I’ll wait right here and growl at them everytime they pass by for the next hour,.. just in case. I love you chicken.

Our Spoodle here and our Ragdoll and Birman kitties have played with this chicken for over a year. This is the third chicken they have had. Chicken 1 and Chicken 2 were bashed about so much their gizzards fell out.

The kitties take great delight in flinging these little chickens in the air and batting them all around the house, much to the horror of the Spoodle who often walks around the house with chicken in her mouth, and a panicked look that says…"where can I hide chicken this time".

She wanders from room to room, whining as she looks for a safe place to hide chicken,.aaaaaw!, but just when she thinks she has found a nice safe place,.in walks a kitty,.. so she picks up chicken again and on it goes. It’s not uncommon to find a mound dug in your bed, and inside the mound is little chicken.
